On September 10, Xu Hui, President of Hohai University, met the visiting delegation headed by Professor LI Rongyu, Executive Vice President of Queensland University, Australia.
President Xu Hui introduced the relevant situation of our university's talent cultivation, scientific research and discipline construction, and hoped to strengthen all-round cooperation with Queensland University in talent cultivation and scientific research to achieve win-win outcome. Executive Vice President LI Ronyu introduced the basic situation of Queensland University, especially some of its practices in improving the cultivation quality, transforming scientific research achievements and globalizing university affairs. The two sides are expected to further expand the cooperation. At the meeting, President Xu Hui and Executive Vice President LI Rongyu signed an agreement on the 3+2 Program for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Studies in Civil Engineering between Hohai University and Queensland University.
The meeting was also attended by relevant personnel from the International Office, the International School and the Civil Engineering School.
During the visit, the Queensland University delegation also visited the Sediment Laboratory of our university.
